I’ve recently taken an offer to work as a freelance page designer for Irish News & Entertainment, an Irish/Irish-American A&E publication. It’s been pretty hectic since I’ve been doing about three weeks worth of work in a one week period. Fortunately, the paper is nearing completion and I can soon return to my sorely-missed studio and begin creating all the ideas I’ve been drumming up in the last week.
That’s not to say my creative side has been completely ignored, but my right right brain is sorely needing nourishment. A couple of times, I took a break from building a paper to make handmade paper. Ironic, huh? I’ve also got some altered media projects I’m dying to start which include a steampunk-inpsired Valentine project. I can’t wait to see how that turns out!
I’ve also searched out some interesting creations on Etsy and am sharing what is probably my favorite item of the day!
